Roofers – Spout Shape Design For Jars and Bottles by Shota Aoyagi » Yanko Design
The Graceful Spout!
Roofers are specially designed lids for jugs, thermos and teapot with the purpose of making liquid pouring an easy experience. When we pour from a regular spout the liquid tends to drip and settle around the spout opening, resulting in limescale formation. The graceful redesign solves the issue plus keeps the bottle completely covered.

Easy Open – Bottle Cap Design by Gonglue Jiang » Yanko Design
Better Than An Opener!
Beer buddies of mine never use bottle openers; they always use their teeth. I guess it is more of a macho thing to do…. but chipped teeth don’t suit my style. I think Easy Open can be the saving grace. It’s designed on the lines of a can ring; a quick clip maneuver and the bottle cap pops open. If this thing works then I guess even soda bottles should try it.

Nutrismart Embedding Data into Food by Hannes Harms » Yanko Design
Plate Watches What You Eat
What if there was a way to make food intake more visual and track all of it? What if there was a way to embed data directly in food? Printable RFID tags will replace barcodes on food packaging, enabling this concept called Nutrismart. A plate reads out our food and works as an invisible diet management system. When placing a cupcake on the plate, it’s scanned by an RFID reader inside the plate. Feedback can be sent to a computer or mobile device where one can witness an infographic of sorts about their eating habits.

All White Bedroom: not boring design idea | Modern Interiors
Here is a very straightforward idea of how an all white bedroom need not be boring thanks to pattern and texture. Using these basic concepts in your interior design scheme can have a major impact with minimal effort. We love this clean, modern, minimal bedroom. But the bedspread and huge matching headboard really save the room from being too sterile. It adds visual interest and brings into the space an aspect of comfort – which you always want in a bedroom. A nice final touch is the furry pillows for extra texture and the wall mounted side lamps for a simple contrast. Overall, the design choices made here do this all white room justice and the result is a wonderful, fresh and calming space
